Suffering is a break in trust, losing your way and not seeing the light.

Suffering is a break in trust, losing your way and not seeing the light.
Why does God allow suffering? That “why” question is not a new one; it goes back thousands of years. The great gift of freedom and love that God has given us comes at the cost of the evil that people freely choose to carry out in the world. For some, suffering leads to an abandonment of belief in God, but for many the opposite is true – it causes them to seek God in a world that seems absurd without Him.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10
